Shana K. Carpenter, Ph.D.

Hi! I am a professor in the school of psychological science at Oregon State University. I earned my Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Colorado State University in 2004, and then spent three years as a postdoc at the University of California, San Diego. I have always been interested in learning and how we can improve it. In my lab we are working on a number of studies that explore cognitive science principles, and how these principles can be applied toward improving learning in the real world.
